Pouria Afkhami as known as PIXOOS, is a Director, Photographer and Journalist. As a freelance multimedia content creator he participated many projects for BBC Persian,
Manoto TV, Radiojavan and Avang Records.

His work spans underground fashion and street photography, to vibrant concert photography and music documentaries in Tbilisi, Samarkand, Bukhara, Toronto and Vancouver.

He also made 3 official music videos for alternative artists and activists in streets of Mashhad, Tehran and Tbilisi.

He started his path in journalism with mentoring of Behzad Bolour, the senior Producer of BBC Persian and world service and he participated as a videographer in many episodes for BBC Persian TV, Website and its Social Media platforms.

He is now based in Toronto, ready to catch his goals and start film-making and more.
